Ms Nepper-Rasmussen has a degree in biomedicine from the University of Southern Denmark (SDU) where she graduated 2015. After that she specialized in cancer research and took a PhD at the Institute for Molecular Medicine at SDU. She finished her PhD in senescence of cancer cells in 2019.??

While finishing her PhD, she joined the Danish EPA??s chemical unit where she after additional training in toxicology works as a scientific officer.??
