Stephen Klump is Nestl?????s Senior Expert in Packaging Food Safety, has more 13 years??? experience in packaging food safety, and earned a PhD in Organic Chemistry from Ohio State University in the US.??
After several years working in the chemicals industry and a transitional role in the beverage industry, Dr Klump moved to Nestl??.?? During his time with Nestl??, Stephen worked at several Nestl?? locations, including the Nestl?? Research Center in Lausanne Switzerland, developing analytical methods to test for migrants from packaging materials. Following, Dr Klump supported packaging safety for Nestl?? at a zone/regional level and now at the global level.?? He's currently based in Marysville Ohio in the USA.
In addition, Dr Klump is the current Executive Chair of the Food Safety Alliance for Packaging (FSAP), a food packaging industry group dedicated to raising awareness about food packaging safety. The FSAP is a technical committee of the Institute of Packaging Professionals (IoPP).
